This suite lets you edit and process DV, HDV, SD/HD-SDI, and all XDCAM formats in real time, fine-tune audio with precision, and author surround sound, dual-layer DVDs.

HDRSR1This sounds pretty exciting and in sync with a range of capable HDD and hi-def handy cams such as HDRSR1(Shown on the left, expected mid October) and DCRSR80 among some of the higher high definition cams available today.

Now Back to the the Vegas and DVD workflow, some of the new features allow you to export directly to Sony PSP, AVC/AAC Support, Insert I-Frames at markers, Flexible window docking, Enhanced video preview options,Improved snapping, ability to view media marker names in events among other great features.

Recently I have created a number of short clips that have been recorded live to some of the music that I like to listen to. Trying to make sense of it all, I have decided to produce a number of DVD’s for management puposes with each DVD containing 3 clips each for quick and easy access. Now I wish I had DVDJ’s-X1 to scratch on., may be one day!

Limits in capturing something unique and original are unlimited.

While browsing the web I came across ruther interesting concept. This particular Brazilin artist who is currently based on Colorado USA is using Google Earth as means of mixing of his visual performance. His works is bases on triggering the Google Earth interface to suit the music. Interesting concpts to say the least. Check out his stuff at http://satellitejockey.net

So far events such as Plug - N Play in Melbourne , Sydney and now Perth(thanks to VJZoo) provide a frequent platform for like minded artists to collaborate and perform on a regular basis which can only be a good thing for development and promotion of visual culture in this country.

Yes, thats right- sexy. Don’t ask me why, but there is a some hidden beauty behind it and I tend to find out why.

In the recent times I have come across a number of visual experiments (more on those later) that set they purpose to destroy the perfectly clear video image by corrupting the computer signals or modifying the clips for them to achieve glitch effect.

Vade has posted a number of his own experiments on this subject
