New Year 2009, Cairns!
As per my previous post on my vdmo Kstati Blog: Happy New Year: Beyond Infinity I have stated that over last week I have made a permanent move to Cairns North Queensland. Its very exciting times which seem to provide a number of organisational challenges, yet I’m thrilled to be in this part of the world and look forward to living and working here and being part of this place for some time to come.

I’m also on a lookout for any possible Web Design Projects and In particular interested to work with various studios (preferably in-house). Anyone who has any offers, please let me know via Contact. Thank you

Over large part of time of me living in this country I have spend considerable amount of time in Mackay Queensland. My family happen to be here, so I call this place a home. While graduating through Mackay Campus of Central Queensland University with Bachelor of Multimedia I generally had a pretty good outlook on local Internet Development scene as it has grown and expanded in this fast growing city all thanks to strong Mining boom.
In last few years there has been a number of small development companies jumping on the scene, majority of which I know on personal level as we crossed our paths studying or working together and at times collaborating on specific projects.
Occasionally I seek out few search queries through Google and msn concerning local web development specialists and I begin to sense some strategies played out by some players as they get they ranking up higher them the most. Generally speaking I don’t hold the greatest value in chasing certain search queries ranking right this very moment, yet its still interests me from technical and context point of view. The attempt has to be made to bring the site back to the top of the ranking where it once used to be, I admit, I had declined my development due to my other interests mainly including Live Motion Performance which has taken me all over the state in last few years, but I’ll happily put my web development gloves on and see where I can take this. Lets go.

It has been a long time since I have made any changes to my personal website. It was well up for a change and major update.
What has been happening in that time? First and foremost I have taken slightly different approach to things that I have done in the past and began pioneering fairly narrow creative field such as VJ’ing or Live Visual Performance. For nearly past 4 years I taken on exploring and developing content that became part of my live shows under (vj) vdmo Kstati moniker and since I have been performing throughout Queensland from Brisbane to Deep North at all kinds of multi day festivals, events and club nights.
Despite this swing on my career path which has brought me a new level of experience which I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise, I still have great passion for the web web related design and continually do my own research and applications to maintain personal aspects of online communication as well as selected clients work.
The biggest benefit in all of this is my undisputed growth in  Motion graphics Production and specifically first hand knowledge on its application in live environment to all kinds of music.  Since I have developed very much in-depth knowledge on After Effects which became a notepad and centre piece for work that I do along with other Multimedia environments such as Flash, Processing, vvvv, Visual Jockey and number of other production tools that make up my overall tool set.
The current aim with this site is to primarily concentrate on Web Development techniques and ongoing issues with the Web that make up the growing pattern on how web develops and grows. At present I see great deal of developments in the area of web regulation which somewhat concerns me on top of issues such as copyright,  content accessibility, web standards, open source software and issues associated with growing and managing your products through it as well as other web related issues.
